This is my first posting on the new DKos so I will try to introduce myself briefly. My name is Dan Feidt and I'm a junior Poli. Sci. student at Macalester College in St. Paul MN, which is an internationalist-oriented institution. The UN flag actually flies under the US flag at the center of campus, and Kofi Annan graduated from here. Personally, I am an occasional journalist of mostly political topics for the student paper, the Mac Weekly, and I have been investigating the government, the machinations of the Iraq war, and in particular the neoconservative movement and its various arms, for quite a while. I'm just a young fella, but I feel committed to exploring the "War on Terror" and what the hell they try to make us believe that means.
This past week I got an interview with Columbia prof. and noted Palestinian-American historian Rashid Khalidi, a participant at Mac's 2003 International Roundtable.
